Mieraf Tesfahun is Executive Head of Fraud Management at Safaricom Ethiopia, with over a decade of experience in telecommunications and fintech. She specializes in fraud risk management, investigations, prevention, and safeguarding telecom and digital financial platforms.

In her current role, Mieraf leads the design and implementation of fraud management programs, strengthening risk frameworks and deploying advanced detection systems to protect customers and ensure business integrity. She brings a holistic perspective on telecom operations and digital finance, combining expertise in customer experience and fraud prevention.

Passionate about building secure digital ecosystems, Mieraf supports Ethiopia’s Digital Transformation and the Digital Ethiopia 2030 initiative, promoting safe, innovative, and inclusive digital services.
