Ogo Onwuzurike

Ogo Onwuzurike currently serves as Country Manager at Truecaller in Nigeria, where she spearheads the company’s go-to-market strategy, overseeing comprehensive operational expansion across the country. She focuses on fostering collaborations with ecosystem partners, service providers, and local businesses to elevate Truecaller to a household name among both consumers and businesses in the region.

Recently, Ogo was appointed Chair of the Luminary Project Board, a role in which she utilises her extensive leadership experience to strengthen leadership and capacity-building initiatives, expand cross-sector collaborations, and support the growth of Africa’s next generation of social impact and entrepreneurial leaders.

With an illustrious track record of propelling businesses to build successful market penetration strategies and scale SaaS products across Africa, Ogo stands out as a recognised leader in the industry. With over a decade of experience across banking, payments, fintech, and SaaS, she has worked with renowned companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Philip Morris International, Interswitch, and MetaMap. She holds a degree in Communications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus Institute of Management.

Ogo began her career as a Management Trainee at GSK, completing rotational assignments across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Brand Management. She later progressed at Philip Morris from Territory Development Executive in 2016 to Regional Sales Manager, Lagos, in 2019. In 2020, she transitioned into tech, joining Interswitch as Business Development Manager for Emerging Markets. This experience ignited her interest in digital transformation, digital ecosystems, platforms, and digital business.

Known for her strategic vision, dedication, and ability to inspire teams, Ogo continues to significantly contribute to Truecaller’s ambitious plans. Her local expertise and regional knowledge are invaluable assets, enhancing the company’s position in the Nigerian market.
